"Quite simply, I started to understand how to take the street culture, or music, or films, or art or other things that influence me, channel them through my own filter, and incorporate them into the things I want to wear myself. " -Jun Takahashi, fashion designer

Launched in 1993 by the fashion designer Jun Takahashi, Undercover founds its roots in the punk style. More in particular, the brand and the designer himself, always looked up to the Vivienne Westwood style and The Sex Pistols band. Takahashi is not just a designer, he creates art. A beautiful concept he expressed during an interview was that he creates what he wants to wear, that is very rare nowadays. "We make noise, not clothes" as well as the words "Balance" and "Aggressive" are very common to find in his creations, due to the punk influence.
