It all started in 2014, when Demna Gvasalia, the founder and designer of Vetements, decided to make a move and have his first fashion show in Paris. Vetements style was something never seen before, massive silhouettes and edgy style were under the spotlight. Vetements went from nothing to a well-known fashion brand in just three years, conquering the front covers of many magazines.
Talking about the designer, he had a tough adolescence. Growing up during the Soviet rule in the country of Georgia meant not being able of choosing his own clothes. Moving away from the state of Georgia, his view of fashion completely changed, and he bagan to express himself through clothes. He lived as a “gypsy” for over six years before getting in to a design course at university.

MUST HAVE FROM THE BRAND:
The must have from the brand is definitely the oversized hoodie with long sleeves. The sleeves are longer than what they are supposed to be on purpose. The hoodie reflects the style of the brand and it became a symbol of it. This is why a large range of celebrities decided to buy one.

HOW TO STYLE THE LONG SLEEVES HOODIE:
The best way to style the hoodie is to have a fancy skirt (or no skirt, using it as a dress-hoodie) and over-the-knee boots. Go for a fancy but effortless look.
